We were excited to be spending one week in the state of Colorado, three nights in Denver at a pet sit and four in Colorado Springs.
There is just one Kiwi (New Zealander) currently playing in the NBA, Steven Adams, and he plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder. When we looked into the playing schedule and found we could make it to Oklahoma for the team’s last home game of the season, we knew we had to make the journey.
After having such a great time in the Southern states last year, we were excited to be returning…. and it was now crawfish season!!
After a reasonable amount of driving we were happy to get to Florida and some warm weather. We didn’t have a lot of time to spend in this state but we were hoping to experience our first swim of the season and hopefully also see some manatees for the first time.
After completing our seventh pet sit and our third stint in Canada, it was time to head back to America and hopefully some warmer climates.
From our tidal bore experience in Moncton, New Brunswick we were now on the road to another pet sitting assignment in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia.
Québec City, oh my!! We thought we had seen some snow before now, but driving into the area we started seeing the hugest piles of snow we had ever seen.
