After another fun stay in Las Vegas we were beginning to head north and enjoy our final few days in America.
On the morning of the 28th of April I found myself enjoying my standard Super 8 breakfast a little more than usual. This was because today we would be returning to one of my absolute favourite places, Las Vegas! So with the Vegas music playlist dusted off and returned to our car’s stereo for the two hour drive from Cedar City, Utah. I was again, returning to one of my happy places.
After our week in Colorado we continued west towards Utah, in search of another American National Park.
We were excited to be spending one week in the state of Colorado, three nights in Denver at a pet sit and four in Colorado Springs.
Spending time in Chicago meant we were not quite a two hour drive from Milwaukee, so we decided to spend a couple of days in the state of Wisconsin.

There is just one Kiwi (New Zealander) currently playing in the NBA, Steven Adams, and he plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder. When we looked into the playing schedule and found we could make it to Oklahoma for the team’s last home game of the season, we knew we had to make the journey.
