Northern Ireland, Belfast – Home with a View

We found this tidy, split level apartment on Airbnb and it was a nice space to explore Belfast and the north.

Inside the apartment was very clean, the open living space is compact with kitchen, dining table and couches. TV was provided but didn’t use it. Kitchen had minimal cooking utensils and a few pots and frying pans. Small refrigerator (no freezer section), oven and hobs, kettle and toaster.Home with a View_Belfast_Northern IrelandOne bedroom was very small with comfortable bed and nice linen. Up another flight of stairs is another bedroom which is very large loft with another comfortable bed and plenty of storage and space.Home with a View_Belfast_Northern Ireland_1Small bathroom with shower, toilet and hand basin. Large radiator/towel rail which is good to dry towels, even in the summer, as the bathroom doesn’t get any natural light.Home with a View_Belfast_Northern Ireland_2The Wi-fi came from the hair salon two levels below so was quite patchy at times. Washing machine on site and drying rack.

The parking wasn’t ‘on premise’ as stated in the listing, there is on-street parking directly outside which is limited to two hours during the day. There is free, all day/night parking across the street and on the side streets. Tesco superstore just 8-10 min walk away.

Distant to:

  • Tesco Superstore – 900m
  • Connswater Shopping Centre – 1 km
  • Titiantic Belfast Museum – 3.2 kms

As we had a rental car we drove around Belfast and further afield to the northern coast.

Price = $109.62 NZD per night (included cleaning fee and Airbnb service fees)
